Health Care and Music Professional

Music Therapy is the use of music to improve people's quality of life. Music Therapists use music and its wellness components - physical, emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual - to help clients improve their health in cognitive, motor, emotional, communicative, social, sensory, and education by using both active and receptive music experiences. The applications of Music Therapy are broad and diverse. As a former Music Therapist and graduate of Michigan State University in 1992, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy, I work daily to help meet the needs of seniors and those with special needs through one hour interactive programs of live performance of popular music. Most facilities hire me monthly, because of the variety of familiar music I provide and hire me for Marketing Events and Family Nights.

Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Michigan State University in 1992 and Board-Certified Music Therapist #04317 Jan. 1994 to Dec. 1998
